In the midst of the line of open-world games available on the market today, Mafia does have its own special and unique position. Like the name it carries, it focuses on the stories and tales of underground criminal organizations with a past timeline that is firmly attached to the name. -big media names like Godfather for example. Dramatic stories involving betrayal, love and family have always been a big part of this series, which has entered its third number. Apart from the last series which was unfortunately criticized for its below average quality, anticipation for a new series remains strong. The good news? 2K seems to be preparing something. The official announcement hasn't been made yet, but this indication came from a well-known leaker – Kurakasis, who so far has super high credibility with his leaked information, from Marvel 1943, Marvels Rivals, Metro Awakening, to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Kurakasis heard that Take-Two is currently preparing to make an announcement regarding the Mafia franchise, which will probably be released to the public in the next 3-4 weeks. He himself has not been able to confirm whether this is a new series, a next-gen update for the Mafia trilogy, or something different.
